Looking a bit dirtier than yesterday, N&W 611 brings NS Train 958 past the classic N&W CPL at CP Concord, putting on a great show, as it did all weekend on the NS Blue Ridge District.

611 bangs through the crossing at Concord, VA on her last leg of two round trips between Lynchburg and Petersburg, 06/13 & 06/14 2015. Soon she'll be tied down in Lynchburg for the night.

Norfolk and Western 611 leads the eastbound excursion train past the former Norfolk and Western signals recreating a scene that once happened daily.

Very few things symbolize N&W more than code line and CPL's. The 611 looks right at home passing the CPL at Concord, VA on its excursion run to Petersburg.
